Sponsorship Program

 

           

Dear Sponsors,

          Guide Dogs Of America operates with no federal funds and relies solely on contributions from businesses, groups and individuals.  We are just such a group, our sole purpose is to organize fund raising events to benefit Guide Dogs Of America.

          Since June of 1999, we have put together a motorcycle run called Run For The Dogs.  We have grown tremendously in the years since then and continue to grow in popularity with each years event.  This run has the makings of being one of the largest motorcycle events in Washington State.

          Each year at rides end, we have a barbeque, live music, a motorcycle show, and more.  Riders and passengers receive awards for the highest score in the run and those entered in the motorcycle show receive placement awards in each category as well as a Best-In-Show award.  There are raffles, pre-registration drawings, door prizes, 50/50 drawings and a fabulous Grand Prize as well as other great prizes.

          Any and all contributions to Guide Dogs Of America are accepted, and all  proceeds from this event go directly to Guide Dogs Of America.  We would like to add you to our growing list of sponsors.  (Please see the Our Sponsors page.)  With your help, this event will be an event that will draw hundreds, if not thousands from every walk of life.  Our Sponsorship program has been designed specifically with our generous sponsors in mind.  We would like to reward each and everyone of you for this generosity and have put together different sponsor categories and benefit packages for this purpose.  The first category is the Gold Medal Sponsor with a minimum of a $4,000 dollar donation.  We have developed a special benefits package designed specifically for this category.  The second is the Silver Medal Sponsor with a minimum of a $3,000 dollar donation also with a special benefits package designed specifically for this category.  Then there's the Bronze Medal Sponsor with a minimum of a $1,800 dollar donation.  We have also designed a special benefits package specifically for those of you who fall into this category.

          We realize that there are many who just can't participate in the above categories but would still like to participate in the sponsor program and for you we have the Honorable Mention Sponsor.  The Honorable Mention Sponsors donation is anything less than $1,800  dollars or a product or service donation with a value less than $1,800 dollars.  For your generosity we have developed a benefits package designed specifically for you as well.

          We also offer any of our sponsors space in the Participants Event Brochure for a service or merchandise coupon for an additional donation of $500.  Or if you prefer to just take advantage of the coupon offer and no other part of the sponsor program that would be great, too.

          Please check out our Sponsor Benefits Packages and then print out the Sponsor Remittance Form from this site and mail with your donations per the instructions to Run For The Dogs Association, 4121 N Huson St, Tacoma, WA 98407.
